I had to take my Jack Russell to the veterinarian a couple of months ago because, due to allergies, she had licked a spot on the top of her paw to the point that it was raw. The vet gave me a prescription spray, but it did not seem to give my dog any relief. I also tried several over-the-counter sprays with no success.
A friend suggested trying Lavender essential oil. So I put one drop on each paw, diluted with coconut oil. After the first application, my dog immediately quit licking her paw!
I have repeated the application of Lavender oil two to three times a day, and my dog seems to no longer be bothered by the allergies. There is absolutely no more licking at all!
I am so thankful to be able to address this issue with my all-natural essential oils!
