Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I am loving the Purification essential oil blend as a bug repellent. Usually I get attacked by mosquitoes that leave large, itchy bumps. After applying Purification, they don't touch me!

Other essential oils that also work well are Citronella, Peppermint, and Lemongrass. Diffusing Peppermint even keeps the flies away.

Just mix a couple drops of your choice of one of the essential oils listed above with a carrier oil like V-6 Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex, almond oil, coconut oil, or olive oil. This helps to spread the essential oil. Do not worry about dilution; it will work just fine.

I also keep the Thieves essential oil blend handy for tick bites. After I have been bitten, I find Lavender and Peppermint essential oils work well at reducing the swelling and eliminating the bite mark.
