Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Since October 2013 my 3-year-old has had a lower than normal platelet count (thrombocytopenia) following a high fever. Last year her count dropped as low as 27.

Recently she came down with a high fever of nearly 104 degrees. I immediately applied Thieves essential oil blend to her feet, paying close attention to the Vita Flex points.

When the doctor did a complete blood count (CBC), the results came back that my daughter's platelets had dropped to 18. The normal range for platelets is between 150 and 460.

That night I added 1 drop of Lemon essential oil to her normal nightly dose of Lavender oil (which she ingests), and I increased her MightyVites vitamins from 1 daily to 3.

We returned to the pediatrician after one week for a recheck, and her platelets had increased to 32! She is still on the low side, but she has never had her platelets increase so quickly. I give the credit to lots of prayer, these fantastic essential oils, and the MightyVites.

We are going to have my daughter rechecked in a month. I am confident that her platelets will return to normal with this new protocol.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: fever-/-febrile -/-temperature — "[W]e studied the anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective effects of C. citratus [Lemongrass] and E. citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus] essential oils on formol-induced edema and acetic acid induced abdominal cramps in Wistar rats.... In vivo analysis and histological assay showed that the two essential oils displayed significant dose-dependent edema [swelling] inhibition effect over time. They displayed strong analgesic [pain-relieving] and antipyretic [fever-reducing] properties similar to that induced by 50 mg/kg of acetylsalicylate of lysine.... This work demonstrates the anti-inflammatory property of Cymbopogon citratus [Lemongrass] and Eucalyptus citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus], suggesting their potential role as adjuvant therapeutic alternatives in dealing with inflammatory-related diseases."Link
2.Associated topics: fever-/-febrile -/-temperature — "Burn Healing Potential of Nigella sativa seed oil in rats.... Nigella sativa L. (Black cumin) has shown a broad spectrum of pharmacological effects like antipyretic [fever reducing], analgesic [pain reducing], anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial.... The present study suggests the burn wound healing action of seeds may be due to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of major compounds in the oil."Link
