My son burned his finger, second degree, on a woodburning tool. He came to ask me if I had anything for a burn on Sunday morning. We put some Lavender oil on it and the next thing I new he had his finger under running water. After I told him that wouldn't help he said it stung. We applied the oil again and I told him to count to 60 and the pain should stop. The pain did stop and by that afternoon, he had forgot he burned himself. That convinced me of the wonder of theraputic grade oils.
