Certain foods I eat trigger headaches, mostly chocolate or sugary foods. If I go to bed with a headache, I usually wake up with it too.

I have recently discovered Peppermint essential oil to rid me of these headaches. If you can tolerate the full strength, it will work best if you rub it on your nose, forehead, temples, and around the eyes. It will make your eyes water, and you will have to keep them closed until it evaporates.

But after the tearing, my headaches are gone almost immediately. If you have sensitive skin, I would dilute it with olive or coconut oil. I will never buy Tylenol again.
