My adult son had pain and swelling of the ear. He had no medical insurance and was between jobs. We put a few drops of the Thieves Oil blend around his ear but not in the ear canal.
After a day or two the pain increased and the swelling continued so it was time to try the oils in a capsule. I put 3-4 drops of Thieves, Oregano, and Frankincense in a capsule and gave that to him 3 times a day.
The start of the second day we could see the swelling going down and his pain level decreased. By the third day he was back to normal.
We continued this for a few more days to make sure that all of the symptoms subsided.
He has been fine ever since.
