I read about using Lemongrass, Lavender, and Peppermint for arthritis in dogs, that I thought I would try on my old girl, Lacey. She recently started hopping rather than walking; she would not walk on her right hind foot.
I could not find where she hurt but determined it was something in her hip. I put a drop of all three essential oils in my hand, rubbed my hands together to dry the oils, and then rubbed them on Lacey backwards, concentrating on her bad area.
Within minutes Lacey seemed to have more pep, was walking sometimes with the foot down... and faster too. She was walking more normally and was acting like she was better. And that is encouraging!
