Layering essential oils of Lemongrass and Cypress has helped me on numerous occasions. When my rotator cuff or biceps tendons are inflamed, applying the Lemongrass first and following it with the Cypress oil a minute later always gives me relief.
I especially appreciate this regimen if I awaken in the middle of the night with shoulder pain, which seems to be a frequent occurrence. I use 4 drops of each essential oil, and these are applied neat (undiluted). I find that the Lemongrass oil especially helps almost immediately with this type of pain.
I frequently recommend this combination to my patients suffering from this issue and have many believers!
