Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

My friend described her symptoms to me, for which she tested positive for strep throat and went on a 10-day course of amoxicillin. A week later, I found myself with the same symptoms: excruciating sore throat, fever with chills, dizziness, headache, and sleeping for 47 out of 48 hours.

After the worst was over -- and I could think straight -- I got out my essential oils. First and foremost, Oregano oil seemed to be the most important oil to apply... as well as diffuse. I applied it (diluted in olive oil) on my neck and chest and up and down my spine. I did this 3 times the first day. I also used Lavender just for general soothing and to offset the strong scent of the Oregano.

As my symptoms changed, I just rolled with it and applied whatever I thought I needed. The sore throat subsided, but I began a dry cough, for which I used RC and Eucalyptus Radiata oil.

I am pleased to say that I was feeling better on the same timeline as my friend who took the antibiotics, and I know I also got other benefits from applying the oils!
