Having hemorrhoids for months, they were getting worse to the point of cringing at the thought of having a bowel movement. When I did, it was particularly painful and bloody.
I was getting desperate for relief and actually considered a doctor visit... and I don't do doctors! I broke down and spent the $30 to purchase Cypress essential oil, which is the oil suggested in the essential oils desk reference. I had tried other oils but had no real relief.
The first night I diluted the Cypress oil (4-6 drops oil) slightly with a carrier oil, put it in a syringe, and carefully inserted it up my rectum about an inch. I also slathered on the Cypress oil all over the anus.
I went to sleep, and when I awoke I was no less than AMAZED. After months of excruciating itching and pain, the hemorrhoids had shrunk to the size of currants. Did I say amazing? By the second day they were all but gone.
I'm still putting it on topically morning and night four days later as a precaution. And to think I was contemplating surgery!
Thank God for essential oils!
