My daughter has suffered terribly from seasonal allergies over the past 6 years. We have tried many combinations of over-the-counter allergy meds, eye drops, and natural supplements. However, she still would get really sick when everything started blooming, and this would last for at least a month every summer.
I recently was using Lavender essential oil on my daughter's face for skin issues and realized that she wasn't having any allergy symptoms, yet everyone around us was. That is when I realized that applying the oil to her face each night was helping her to not react to the pollen.
I have now had a few friends try it out for cat allergies and other seasonal allergies, and, so far, everyone is responding within 10 minutes to the Lavender oil!
I have given a few drops of each of Peppermint, Lemon and Lavender oils orally a few times on high grass pollen count days and when my daughter is going to be outside. It is amazing that all of her symptoms are kept at bay just by using a little essential oil.
Everyone needs to know about this, so I am sharing it with anyone who complains of allergies. Truly amazing! Now we can open our windows, and my daughter can enjoy being outside again!
