Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I electrocuted myself by touching the prongs of a device while they were still in contact with the outlet. I did awful damage to my right hand. All the fingers were affected, but the middle through pinkie were the most severe.

The pinkie curled down toward my palm involuntarily. The other fingers were swollen. I have had pins and needles, as well as a feeling of burning sparkles (my own description) throughout my hand and into my wrist. The skin on my right hand became scaly and started flaking off.

To make a long, sad, depressing story short and positive, I took matters into my own hands (no pun intended) and started using my oils to support the healing of my hand.

First I applied Frankincense NEAT (straight from the bottle), topically onto the top of my hand, into all the fingers (top, sides, bottom), into the palm, and into the wrist (top, sides, and bottom). I did a light massage when I applied it even though it was painful. Then I waited about 15 minutes so it could fully absorb and applied Copaiba oil NEAT, directly over the Frankincense application. I did this 4 times a day.

I also took both Frankincense and Copaiba oils internally by putting 3 drops of each oil into a capsule with 3 drops of olive oil. I took the capsule with 4 ounces of almond milk 4 times a day.

The pain diminished hours after I started, and the length of time the pain relief lasted between applications gradually lengthened.

Give it time, but don't give up! Best wishes.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: nerve-pain — "The patient was successfully treated with topical peppermint oil [for postherpetic neuralgia, a complication of shingles].... The authors believe this is the first evidence of peppermint oil (or menthol) having a strong analgesic effect on neuropathic pain."Link
2.Associated topics: nerve-pain — "Ameliorative effects of Ocimum sanctum [holy basil] in sciatic nerve transection-induced neuropathy...."Link
3.Associated topics: nerve-pain — "Topical high-concentration L-menthol is the only established human experimental pain model to study mechanisms underlying cold hyperalgesia. We aimed at investigating the combinatorial effect of cold stimuli and topical L-menthol on cold pain and secondary mechanical hyperalgesia. Cold detection threshold and cold pain threshold (CPT) increased after L-menthol and remained high after the cold rekindling cycles.... Skin blood flow increased after L-menthol and stayed stable after cold cycles. Repeated application of cold on skin treated by L-menthol facilitated and prolonged L-menthol-induced cold pain and hyperalgesia."Link
