Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I reached up one day to check an area high up on my drapes. I had on my dress shoes so they are not exactly soft inside. I felt something in the ball of my foot pop. I left the house and by afternoon I could not walk on that foot.

I went to the doctor to find out exactly what I was dealing with. He told me that it was a nerve that had been displaced from the channel it is suppose to be in.

Of course he wanted to do injections and if they didn't help, remove the nerve. My toes were already numb from the problem, I knew if the nerve was removed my toes would be forever numb. So I said thanks, but no thanks. I had the information I needed from him.

I tried several of the oils, including the supplement NeuroGen. Some would help for short times some didn't help at all. Knowing that we are all different and some oils work for some people and not for others, I was ready to start applying every oil that I had, one at a time to see if I could find one that would help.

Then one day as I was going through my emails, someone was talking about Clove oil they had used for a nerve problem. I thought well why not. I put a few drops of Clove on my foot. I had no problems for a whole week, which was incredible. Each time I used it, the effects would last longer and longer.

I have now gone several months and have not even noticed that I had a problem so that must mean the nerve is finally returning where it belongs.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: nerve-pain,numbness-/-tingling-(Neuropathy) — "The patient was successfully treated with topical peppermint oil [for postherpetic neuralgia, a complication of shingles].... The authors believe this is the first evidence of peppermint oil (or menthol) having a strong analgesic effect on neuropathic pain."Link
2.Associated topics: nerve-pain,pinched-nerve,numbness-/-tingling-(Neuropathy) — "Ameliorative effects of Ocimum sanctum [holy basil] in sciatic nerve transection-induced neuropathy...."Link
3.Associated topics: nerve-pain — "Topical high-concentration L-menthol is the only established human experimental pain model to study mechanisms underlying cold hyperalgesia. We aimed at investigating the combinatorial effect of cold stimuli and topical L-menthol on cold pain and secondary mechanical hyperalgesia. Cold detection threshold and cold pain threshold (CPT) increased after L-menthol and remained high after the cold rekindling cycles.... Skin blood flow increased after L-menthol and stayed stable after cold cycles. Repeated application of cold on skin treated by L-menthol facilitated and prolonged L-menthol-induced cold pain and hyperalgesia."Link
