Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

We were battling some pretty severe molluscum contagiosum (water warts) on my 4-year-old daughter's bottom, that had been spreading down her legs for two years. It was quite painful for her to sit on hard surfaces, and long car rides, that are frequent in our traveling family. It was a very bothersome situation.

We tried several different oils with no results. These included the Melrose and Purification blends, as well as Oregano, and Melaleuca Alternifolia oils. Her sores got so bad two weeks ago that my husband and I were contemplating going to the doctor to have them frozen off; that was our last resort.

I did my final research on treating with essential oils and came across a testimonial about a woman who had great success using Sacred Frankincense on her kiddo, and it removed the sores quickly! I decided to try what I had which was regular Frankincense oil.

My husband and I are AMAZED that within just two weeks of applying Frankincense at night before bed, the sores are just about gone! I will continue to apply until the bruise-like color disappears from her skin but, for the most part, they have disappeared.

We are so happy (and so is she) that we didn't have to resort to the painful process of freezing over 20 sores in quite sensitive places.

I am thankful to God for these amazing oils!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: virus — "The presence of beta-caryophyllene in many essential oils might contribute strongly to their antiviral ability. These results indicate that phenylpropanoids and sesquiterpenes present in essential oils contribute to their antiviral activity against HSV [herpes simplex virus]."Link
2.Associated topics: virus — "Taken together, we found an essential oil blend [Orange, Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary] notably attenuates influenza virus PR8 infection in vitro via inhibition of viral protein synthesis at the post-transcription level. The lack of toxicity and potent specific inhibition ability make the essential oil a possible antiviral drug for influenza virus proliferation control and treatment."Link
3.Associated topics: skin-infection — "[M]any curative properties attributed to various plants in indigenous medicine are also present in their essential oils.... These oils exert a number of general effects from the pharmacological viewpoint. When applied locally, the essential oils mix readily with skin oils, allowing these to attack the infective agents quickly and actively.... In vitro studies [were] conducted by the author on antimicrobial and anthelmintic [destructive to parasitic worms] properties of some essential oils...."Link
4.Associated topics: molluscum-contagiosum — "Essential oil of Australian lemon myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) [was effective] in the treatment of molluscum contagiosum in children."Link
5.Associated topics: skin-infection — "[One] method employed for wound healing is the application of lavender oil. Due to its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties, it is thought to prevent wound infections and to play a role in reducing pain by lowering inflammation.... Lavender oil is known to have antibacterial, antifungal, sedative, and/or antidepressant effects.... In addition to its antimicrobial effects, the anti-inflammatory analgesic properties of lavender oil have also been emphasized... The use of L. Angustifolia [lavender] is particularly recommended in chronically infected wounds due to its immune-stimulating and antimicrobial effects. There are also reports that lavender oil reduces scar tissue."Link
6.Associated topics: virus,skin-infection — "Tea tree oil (TTO) (Melaleuca alternifolia) has been used recently as an effective topical application for the treatment of skin infections due to a variety of aetiological microbial agents, including mainly bacterial infections. We detail... the successful treatment with TTO of a paediatric patient with warts on her right middle finger. TTO was applied topically once daily to the lesions for 12 days, with a successful outcome, including complete re-epithelization of the infected areas. The case highlights the potential use of TTO in the treatment of common warts due to human papilloma virus."Link
7.Associated topics: virus — "Essential oils from anise, hyssop, thyme, ginger, camomile and sandalwood were screened for their inhibitory effect against herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) [genital herpes]. A clearly dose-dependent virucidal activity against HSV-2 could be demonstrated for all essential oils tested. Chamomile oil exhibited a high selectivity index and seems to be a promising candidate for topical therapeutic application as virucidal agents for treatment of herpes genitalis."Link
