Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have given birth to all of our four, soon-to-be-five, children at home. Each one has gone amazingly well. With the birth of our fourth child, we used Young Living Essential Oils during labor and delivery for the first time. Here are some of the oils we used:

* PanAway - for lower back labor/pain ( a few drops on feet, lower back, hips and neck)
* Clary Sage - to encourage labor to continue ( a few drops on inner ankles)
* Sacred Frankincense - inhaled during contractions for calming and relaxation
* Myrrh - on baby's umbilical cord

This was by far the best labor and delivery I have ever experienced. With each contraction, my husband would pray over me and hold Sacred Frankincense up for me to inhale. While the contractions continued, I was able to relax and focus on the fact that all was well, and my body was doing exactly what it was supposed to be doing. I never experienced the usual transition time of panic and feeling out of control.

Hard labor started around 10pm, and our baby girl was born at 12:05am. It was amazingly calm and quiet; such a fabulous experience!
