Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I began using the essential oils 2 years ago in June when I had major surgery. My best friend from college, Jill Taylor, has been using and selling Young Living Essential Oils for about 8 years. We joke now, that it only took me 7 years to "get it".
I wanted oils to prevent scarring and also to address the emotions I was having concerning the surgery. There was some fear involved about waking up from the surgery.
I received my oils the day of my surgery and I applied them, as instructed to the bottom of my feet. We have the largest pores and the largest concentration of pores on the bottoms of our feet.
Essential oils have an incredible ability to travel through the body. Once in your system, these oil compounds have an ability to protect and assist the body in various ways.
The oils, many of which are anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, supportive of the immune, respiratory and endocrine systems have entered every cell in your body within 20 minutes.
I also put oils on other body parts and I inhale them. My surgery went flawlessly. Every time I returned for a check up my surgeon was amazed at my progress. She would say, "You look great! We need to take new pictures".
I continued using the oils, specifically, Lavender to support my skin, Sandalwood and Cedarwood for regeneration of tissue and increasing circulation.
The most amazing benefit to me so far is that I no longer have to use medications for asthma and allergies. I was on inhalers, decongestants, antihistamines, you name it, I had it. The last time I used an inhaler or any medication for asthma, or allergies was in December 2004.
I inhale, apply and ingest (100% therapeutic grade) Peppermint oil and Lavender, as well as many others to control any symptoms. And the symptoms occur infrequently now. In fact, in July of last year I was able to go scuba diving for the first time in 2 years because I was symptom free and medication free thus able to dive. It was brilliant, awe-inspiring and humbling all at once.
The use of essential oils for health, healing and wellness is ancient medicine. The first gifts given to the Christ child were Frankincense oil and Myrrh. They are sacred beautiful oils that I'm just beginning to discover the wonders of.
I've found they have enhanced my life and the lives of my family and friends in unexpected and blessed ways.
