Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

My oldest son, who is 15 years old, was dealing with a host of issues after going to encampment for a week in freezing cold temperatures in north Texas. Primarily they started with allergies, congestion, and cough which led to fever, inner ear pain, and eye mucous.

We were dealing with many issues here as you can see, I was beginning to think that we were going to end up in the emergency room. As so much was happening, and because he was gone for a week, I couldn't care for him like I usually do, which is to be proactive and act at the first sign of a symptom.

I received him back after a week in which he had a stomach virus while he was there in addition to everything else that he was enduring. I felt like we were really being put to the test here to see if what I always say about Young Living was really true. We hadn't been to a doctor in so many years that my children don't even know that they had a primary doctor at one time.

For his persistent cough, which at first we thought could be pneumonia, turned out that he was fine respiratory wise. Because of all the oils that we were using on his chest, his lungs were clear. He developed a sinus infection after almost getting totally well, he decided to run outside barefoot with the dog in cool damp temperatures which set him back a bit.

He developed this sinus infection and drainage to back of throat, which then caused the back of his throat to be irritated. This, in turn, led to his persistent, hacking, all night kind of cough. It sounded like he could very easily cough up a lung as hard as he was coughing.

After crying out to the Lord, I felt led to give him a cup of warm water with celtic sea salt, and 3 drops of Lemon oil in it. I had him gargle with this which aided in rinsing the back of his throat. That worked well and he slept all night. We also used Lavender to help stop the drainage.

I also suggested the next day to gargle with the Thieves Mouthwash and he is resting now with NO cough! I thank God for the recommendations here, as I know I didn't come up with that plan, and to thank Young Living for the purest of essential oils. I'm thankful for their efforts of bringing these oils to us already bottled, so all we have to do is buy and use them!
