Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
I have suffered with several bouts of diverticulitis for over three years, having been hospitalized and placed on intravenous antibiotics for 4-5 days. I have become good at picking up on a flare-up and have been able to control the infection by taking oral antibiotics within 12 hours. If I don't, I end up in hospital for days. Taking antibiotics does not sit comfortably with me, but the other option of having the infection turn into an abscess and burst in my abdomen isn't a healthy alternative.
Last week I had another flare up. I used the Raindrop oils on my belly 3 times daily, and was rubbing Oregano on my belly and feet as well. After 12 hours my temperature began to rise, and I was thinking that this problem was too great for the oils. I was so close to going to the doctor, but then I thought swallowing the Oregano in a capsule (Oregano of course being a powerful antibiotic).
Within two hours my temperature started coming down. I continued taking 5 drops of Oregano in a capsule every 2 -3 hours.
The next morning I had a remarkable turnaround. I went shopping, in the afternoon I went to our staff Christmas Party and in the evening I went to an engagement party! This is truly amazing, because in my previous experiences with diverticulitis, at least a dozen episodes, I would have been laid out for days. I have never overcome a flare-up without the use of antibiotics. These oils are remarkable and I am so thankful that I don't have to rely on antibiotics any more!
