I have been giving my eleven year old Scottish Terrier Sacred Frankincense since August 2012 when he was diagnosed with melanoma. He did have a toe amputated and received some treatment to build his immune system from a clinic specializing in animal cancers.
The vets are pleased with how well he looks. He does have some lesions in his lungs that just showed in X rays this week. However, I am not discouraged at all.
I feel his quality of life has been awesome! I will continue to apply Balsam Fir and Orange oils to him topically. Many of my friends who have had dogs with this have passed much earlier after this diagnoses. I will love him and keep oiling!
