Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

After experiencing nursing home visits first hand for a few years, I have become very familiar with the problems of visiting a loved one. The patients desire to go home and not remembering things can bring stress not only to the visitor, but especially to the one being visited.

When I received my oils, I took some to my mother when I went to visit with her and used some of them in the diffuser. They really helped us in our visits. I would bring out the oils and all the sudden the visit would change from one concentrating on what we could not change, to one of interest in something new because every time for her it is new. I would apply some to her and diffuse some and we would have a great visit.

After a few times, it caught the attention of the nursing home staff. They asked me to do that for the patients in the area that is called the locked area. This would be for the patients that are so bad with their memory or need the special care they can receive on that ward. I was glad to do so and the results were amazing.

The staff was very surprised to see that the patients sat still during that time and did not try to wander off or get upset or seem confused. They seemed to enjoy the time very much.

I did the Peace & Calming blend in the diffuser and then one by one let each one smell an oil and apply a small amount on their arm. It was a great time and one that I will be doing again for them.
