Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

About a year ago I was introduced to essential oils and couldn't believe how well they worked, they were amazing on pain. However, I had other problems and sleeplessness was just one.

For the past two years I had been taking an over the counter sleeping aid and I had tried many different ones. They helped at first, but I didn't like the groggy feeling I had when I woke up. Plus, after two years they really were not working anymore and I would toss and turn all night. I felt so tired the next day because I didn't sleep properly. Also, when I would lay down in bed, my legs would just twitch and I had a hard time relaxing and being still. My husband was having a fit, because he said I was keeping him awake! I had purchased the "Essential Oil Desk Reference" book and read in there to apply Harmony around your belly button, the bottoms of your feet, the back of your neck and a drop on your forhead and chest. Then rub a drop or two of Peace & Calming over your shoulders. So I ordered some and started using them faithfully at night and I used the Harmony during the day as it is a great stress reliever.

The very first night I used the oils I slept better. Then the restlessness stopped! I would apply my oils and lay down and I was and am perfectly calm and relaxed and I have a good nights sleep. They really do work! My daughter and her husband have also started using these oils and they no longer take any kind of "PM" pills either. Plus, the best part is how you feel when you wake up....refreshed! I love using my oils!

At the behavioral level, subjects in the ylang ylang oil group rated themselves more calm and more relaxed than subjects in the control group. These findings are likely to represent a relaxing effect of the ylang ylang oil and provide some evidence for the usage of the ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy such as causing a relief of depression and stress in humans."Link
