I chose to give birth at a birthing center, not a hospital. After I delivered my placenta my midwife told me I was still bleeding and lost a lot of blood.

Since it wasn't stopping on its own, she said they would have to transfer me to the hospital to stop the bleeding.

I told her I would try Helichrysum first. My husband dropped about 20 drops on my lower abdomen, the bleeding stopped immediately and I never had to be transferred to the hospital and separated from my son.
