Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

After being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 6 years ago, I have been on everything from prednisone, anti-inflammatory drugs and different types of injections. When I would go without my medications or do activities that were physical, I would have severe pain in my joints.

A friend introduced essential oils to me telling me about many people, including himself, that have used the oils for various reasons with outstanding results. I was skeptical at first, but I decided that I would give it a try, anything would be better than what I was putting in my body!

I was given a sample recipe consisting of 2 oz Ortho Sport, 10 drops of Peppermint and 10 drops of PanAway to apply to the areas that were hurting. Minutes after rubbing some oil on my ankles, I noticed relief. I could not believe it, I was thinking it was just by chance!

After a few days of applying the oil, it was my 'scheduled time' for my injection. Since I was not hurting, I decided that I would hold off for 2 weeks. I knew right then that I wanted to buy some essential oils!!

After learning that if I became a distributor I would get the oils at a lower price, I decided that was a win-win second guessing on that one! So, I signed up and I am continuing to spread the word about the oils to everyone I know on how great they work and what the results are!

I am so happy to be sharing these oils with friends and family, better health for everyone! It has now been a month since I had to do my RA injection and I am feeling tremendously better, not just with the pain in the joints, but overall improved health!

Thank you Young Living for you amazing products and thank you Johnny for introducing me to a whole new world!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: joints,rheumatoid-arthritis-(RA) — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
2.Associated topics: joints,rheumatoid-arthritis-(RA) — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3.Associated topics: joints — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
