Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

We live in tick country and I have used a tool called Ticked Off for years. It's a plastic little crochet hook shaped thing that you insert at the tick's head and scoop it off the area while it is engorging itself. I have used this for many years and it's 100% effective. I have never broken off a head from body parts etc, except this time.

One of our dogs, a Border Collie, had a tick embedded in his ear flap just inside the ear. It's a thin-skinned area and the tool was not working. I felt like I was having to use undue pressure to try and evict the thing and it caused a gouge and some blood-never mind the dog resisting!

So I went and got out the Purification and applied a couple drops near the site-not right on top of it. Within about two hours the tick had backed itself out! I applied more to help with disinfection after that.
