Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My eight year old daughter was absolutely miserable the other night due to a bunch of mosquito bites. She was crying and carrying on and couldn't sleep, and she had scratched them so much she was miserable. She refused to put Purification on before bed, but finally she got so miserable she let me help.

I put her into a warm bath with baking soda and Peace & Calming, which calmed her down. While she was bathing, I made a paste, really throwing in everything I could think of that seemed soothing.

I mixed baking soda with several drops of Purification (for the sting), Peace & Calming (for the angry red skin around the scratches), RutaVaLa (because it numbs) and some Peppermint (because it's so soothing), then added distilled water until it was the consistency of paste.

After the warm bath, I smeared it over everywhere she had bites and was itchy. She immediately said it felt better. I rolled some RutaVaLa on the back of her neck, put her back in bed, and she was asleep within minutes.

The next morning before school I found her putting Purification on them when they started irritating her a little bit, and she said, "hey, they don't itch at all now!" That next night she got out of bed again and asked for the paste because they were bothering her. I think I'll just keep some on hand for the summer!
