I found a tick filled with blood about the size of 1.5 peas on my large outdoor cat. I have used Peppermint and Purification successfully in the past but they weren't handy at the time so I used Clove and Lemongrass on a q-tip with some coconut oil (less than 1 drop of each to soak into the q-tip). I applied both oils all around the tick.

I forgot all about checking on him until the next day. My husband felt for the tick and it was stuck in the fur not attached and completely shriveled up, dehydrated with no blood in it, and dead.
