Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I am in my mid sixties and noticed that I developed a pain in my left shoulder, upper arm that made me want to cry. I went to my chiropractor, who gave me a neck adjustment, diagnosed the problem as tendonitis and recommended that I apply cold packs 15 minutes on, and an hour off.

Once I had a diagnosis, I immediately went home and researched what other oilers have done for inflammation and tendonitis. The following is the list I compiled in alphabetical order from that effort:

* the Aroma Siez oil blend
* Basil
* Copaiba
* Cypress
* the Deep Relief oil blend
* Frankincense
* Idaho Balsam Fir
* Helichrysum followed by Geranium
* Lemongrass on bottom of the feet at night
* Marjoram
* Palo Santo
* the PanAway oil blend by itself
* PanAway + Peppermint
* Peppermint
* Raindrop mixture on the bottom of the feet (this Raindrop recipe came from another testimonial, I keep it in a bottle ready for use when needed)
* Regenolone
* the Relieve It oil blend
* Sulfurzyme 4x a day
* Thyme
* the Valor oil blend, followed by PanAway, followed by Peppermint
* Wintergreen on the bottom of feet

I've been oiling for years, so I have quite a variety of oils at my disposal. If you're a new oiler, you may not have all these options on hand. Also note that only a couple of drops of each oil are needed per application.

My intention was to work my way down the list until I found something that worked for me. I started with a few drops of PanAway alone. Then I decided on Valor + PanAway + Peppermint. Still another time I tried Helichrysum + Geranium. I used Lemongrass on the soles of my feet before bedtime. And I started a regiment of Sulfurzyme. I didn't even have to go far on the list before I got relief. Within 4 days, the pain was totally gone.

Praise the Lord for these therapeutic grade essential oils, all the people who willingly submit their personal testimonies, and technicians of this website who email me daily testimonials that are possible matches for my previous searches. I am truly grateful!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: joints — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
2.Associated topics: joints — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3.Associated topics: joints — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
