I had a fairly prominent venous lake on my lip that was difficult to cover with lipstick. A venous lake is a dark blue papule or vascular lesion that appears on lips or ears and is linked to sun damage.
I started putting Lavender oil on it twice daily. After a couple of weeks it had shrunk considerably. I have applied Lavender and more recently Helichrysum on it daily for four months and it is now barely visible.
I typically use one drop once or twice a day. It is now easily covered by lip gloss or lipstick if I want to cover it. I also use the Lavender lip balm and don't really need to cover it.
