Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

In my first testimonial, I had explained how I was introduced to Young Living Essential Oils. I had such an awesome massage experience which is one I will never forget.

I am so glad I purchased the essential oils reference book that very next day after my massage. I had a health concern months later and ended up having a medical procedure done in my doctor's office.

My doctor told me that one of the side-effects that I would experience every month is having really bad cramps. I thought to myself how bad could it be, I've had cramps before.

So, I didn't think much about it until that following month came. All I can remember is how intense those cramps were. They were so intense, I was almost in tears. I knew that this was something I didn't want to experience every month.

I looked up cramps in my essential oils reference book and it was suggested that I use an oil blend called Endoflex. I can remember thinking that if an oil can take away pain such as this, then this will truly make a believer out of me. This oil blend was my very first product that I bought from Young Living Essential Oils.

At that time, I didn't know how to use the oils, so I experimented. For the first two weeks, I had applied Endoflex topically at night before bed. I noticed relief right away after using it the first night, but continued to apply it every night for the first two weeks. For the remaining two weeks of that month, I applied the oil topically every other night instead.

After using Endoflex within my first month, those cramps that the doctor said I would always have every month went from very intense to hardly any at all. I still applied the blend as needed, but as months went by those cramps that I once had were gone for good.

Experiencing essential oils truly made a believer out of me. I don't know where I would be without Young Living Essential Oils.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: menstruation-/-period,menstrual-cramps — "The present study indicated that lavender aromatherapy as a potential therapeutic modality could alleviate premenstrual emotional symptoms, which, at least in part, is attributable to the improvement of parasympathetic nervous system activity. This study further implies that HRV could evaluate the efficacy of aromatherapy using various fragrances to relieve premenstrual symptoms, and ultimately, support the mind and body health of women."Link
2.Associated topics: abdominal-pain — "[W]e studied the anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective effects of C. citratus [Lemongrass] and E. citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus] essential oils on formol-induced edema and acetic acid induced abdominal cramps in Wistar rats.... In vivo analysis and histological assay showed that the two essential oils displayed significant dose-dependent edema [swelling] inhibition effect over time. They displayed strong analgesic [pain-relieving] and antipyretic [fever-reducing] properties similar to that induced by 50 mg/kg of acetylsalicylate of lysine.... This work demonstrates the anti-inflammatory property of Cymbopogon citratus [Lemongrass] and Eucalyptus citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus], suggesting their potential role as adjuvant therapeutic alternatives in dealing with inflammatory-related diseases."Link
3.Associated topics: menstruation-/-period,abdominal-pain,menstrual-cramps — "Peppermint oil is harmless and acts locally to inhibit GI [gastrointestinal] smooth muscle contraction.... Peppermint oil solution administered intraluminally can be used as an antispasmodic agent with superior efficacy and fewer side effects than hyoscine-N-butylbromide...."Link
4.Associated topics: abdominal-pain — "A 4 weeks treatment with peppermint oil improves abdominal symptoms in patients with irritable bowel syndrome.... The symptoms evaluated were: abdominal bloating, abdominal pain or discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, feeling of incomplete evacuation, pain at defecation, passage of gas or mucus, and urgency at defecation."Link
5.Associated topics: abdominal-pain — "In traditional folk medicine, tarragon [Artemisia dracunculus L. (Asteraceae)] has been used for treatment of pain and gastrointestinal disturbances.... This study reported the peripheral and central antinociceptive activity of the EOAD [essential oil of A. dracunculus] and rationalized the traditional use of the plant in the treatment of different painful conditions."Link
6.Associated topics: menstruation-/-period,menstrual-cramps — "[T]he level and duration of menstrual pain and the amount of menstrual bleeding were significantly lower in the aromatherapy group than in the placebo group.
