Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have Lymphedema in both of my legs. The bottom of my legs when I started using Lemongrass oil was a dark grey/purple color it had been that way for years.

Within three days of starting to use Lemongrass oil, my lower legs were no longer bruised in color, they were more flesh tone with a slight sunburn look. And within a few weeks time I had lost 20 pounds of fluid. This was so exciting for me!

When I joined Young Living I was taking 120 mg a day of Lasix (diuretic) which was doing more damage than benefiting me. Within 6 months I was completely off of Lasix.

I used 2 drops of Lemongrass 2x day in almond milk.

I also use the Lemongrass oil mixed with a carrier oil in place of toxic lotions and creams and for my manual lymphatic drainage massage. I fill a four ounce bottle with carrier oil and add 5 drops of Lemongrass oil.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: edema-/-water-retention-/-dropsy — "[W]e studied the anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective effects of C. citratus [Lemongrass] and E. citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus] essential oils on formol-induced edema and acetic acid induced abdominal cramps in Wistar rats.... In vivo analysis and histological assay showed that the two essential oils displayed significant dose-dependent edema [swelling] inhibition effect over time. They displayed strong analgesic [pain-relieving] and antipyretic [fever-reducing] properties similar to that induced by 50 mg/kg of acetylsalicylate of lysine.... This work demonstrates the anti-inflammatory property of Cymbopogon citratus [Lemongrass] and Eucalyptus citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus], suggesting their potential role as adjuvant therapeutic alternatives in dealing with inflammatory-related diseases."Link
2.Associated topics: weight-loss — "Z. officinale [ginger] has been used to control diabetes and dyslipidemia [high cholesterol].... The marked rise in body weights, glucose, insulin, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, free fatty acids and phospholipids in serum of the rats that followed 6 weeks of high-fat diet treatment were significantly reduced by Z. officinale treatment.... The present results provide scientific evidence to substantiate the traditional use of Z. officinale in preventing metabolic disorders."Link
3.Associated topics: weight-loss — "Co-administration of the lime essential oil and ketotifen caused significant suppression in gaining weight, as well as decreased body weights of mice.
