Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Last December I went to the dentist to have all four wisdom teeth removed, and two of the teeth were really hard to get out. It took over an hour for the procedure and on the last tooth I had to help by pushing against the tool with my jaw to give the dentist enough leverage to extract the tooth. All he could say after it was all done was "Wow, that was tough. You are going to hurt."

Being a nursing mom I was concerned about taking painkillers, so I got out my essential oils and prepared to battle the pain. I found the best relief was from nearly constant icing, capsules with 5 drops Frankincense oil, 2 drops Peppermint, 10-15 drops Copaiba and straight Copaiba under the tongue.

I also put the PanAway oil blend on the outside of my jaw every 15-30 minutes for the first few days. The second day I added the Valor oil blend on my jaw along with the PanAway, and took the oil cocktail capsules every couple hours.

By day 3 and 4, when the dentist told me my pain and swelling would be at it's worst, the swelling was already going down. There was only a very small amount of bruising and the pain was tolerable so I only had to take a drop of Copaiba under my tongue.

I was so blessed to have the oils aid me after the extraction of my wisdom teeth. All 4 wisdom teeth were removed surgically with no conventional painkillers, not even Ibuprofen!!

Study 5: "The myth that the effect of oil-pulling therapy on oral health was just a placebo effect has been broken, and there are clear indications of possible saponification and emulsification process, which enhances its mechanical cleaning action."Link
2.Associated topics: dental,tooth-/-teeth — "Both clove and benzocaine gels had significantly lower mean pain scores than placebos. No significant difference was observed between clove and benzocaine regarding pain scores.
