Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
Formerly, I used to breed Labradors. Unfortunately one of the lines was from a kennel that a strain of canine herpes was found to be in. This eventually led to me retiring my kennel for the risk was too great to new born puppies.
However, when we first discovered it, I had litters on the way. So the best bet was fend for myself the best way I could. It was recommended that we keep the puppies heated in a fake febrile state to keep the virus from spreading.
I did my research and found that rubbing Lavender on the bellies and paws of the little puppies could help ward off potential viral attacks. The mother had lost puppies in the past to the same strange symptoms that were common to the canine herpes virus in small pups. So we didn't take the chance.
In this final litter, we were fortunate enough to not loose any puppies. I cannot say whether or not these puppies had the virus for sure as only an autopsy would reveal the situation for sure. But these puppies did not appear to be affected if they were.
