Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

With a long history of spasms closing off my esophageal-gastric junction (the opening to the stomach), including getting food stuck there which required physical removal by a doctor on more than one occasion, I discovered using Clove oil on my gums will immediately relax that muscle. It works great for hiccups, too, which, if left unstopped, will spasm that muscle shut again.

I carry Clove with me all the time and can now eat comfortably again. I've been using it for several years and so I use as many drops, applied on my fingertip to my gums, as I want. It is a strong oil, so be careful. I first used it on the outside of my front teeth for fear of burning my mouth but that didn't happen.

I also use a drop or two in my tea if I feel tense in the tummy and sometimes smell a cotton ball with Clove oil on it. That's general feel-good for me.
