Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I had gone on a holiday down to Melbourne, VIC and was really enjoying my time down there, until one morning I woke up with lots of itchy bites down my arm and on my chest. They were bed bug bites, and they were the itchiest most painful little bites I've ever had in my life.

They stayed for almost 2 weeks and would have left horrible scars, but I used Lavender oil directly onto the bites and it helped with the itching, got rid of the redness and prevented scarring.

When I had arrived home, after a few nights, I realized that I had more bites. I had brought some bugs home with me.

Normally bed bugs result in throwing out all of your belongings in an attempt to rid yourself of them. However, I made a mixture of oils and sprayed them all over my clothes, bedding, furniture and carpet.

The mixture is:

* 20 drops Thieves
* 20 drops Clove
* 20 drops Lemon
* 20 drops Lavender

Mix this with about 250ml of water and spray it on everything. Vacuum your bed a few hours after you spray this to suck up all the dead/dying bugs.

Also wash all of your clothes in a washing machine with 5-10 drops of Clove oil and they will be cleaner and more bug free than ever.

I made this mixture up for a few friends of mine who had been suffering from bed bugs problems and they said that this has helped them greatly.
