Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I had been a sufferer of yeast infections, bladder infections and UTI's for as long as I can remember. Sex was painful and that pain made me disinterested in any kind of sexual activity.

Initially I started taking Grapefruit oil because I heard it was great for cellulite. However a few days after I first started taking it I noticed that these problems I had been experiencing almost all my life weren't there anymore.

A friend of mine also suffered from these problems. She had constant kidney infections and was on a new round of antibiotics frequently. After months of nagging her to try some, she no longer has these problems and only suffers from kidney infections if she misses taking Grapefruit for a few days.

Eighteen months later and I haven't had a single encounter with any of these problems. If I start getting a pain or feel the symptoms of them, I simply take double the drops (I normally have 5 drops a day) and the symptoms go away.

Sex is no longer a painful experience. As for the cellulite, Grapefruit hasn't really done anything to help remedy that, but what it has done has literally changed my life.

Grapefruit oil has been such a blessing in my life!

2.Associated topics: antibiotic, candida — "As proven in vitro, essential oils [Eucalyptus, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Thyme, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Cinnamon, Grapefruit, Clove, Sandalwood, Peppermint, Sage] represent a cheap and effective antiseptic topical treatment option even for antibiotic-resistant strains [such] as MRSA and antimycotic [antifungal]-resistant Candida species."Link
3.Associated topics: urinary-tract-infection-(UTI) — "14 plant essential oils -- anise (Pimpinella anisum), bay leaves (Laurus nobilis), cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum verum), clove (Eugenia caryophyllata), fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), hop (Humulus lupulus), Istanbul oregano (Origanum vulgare subsp. hirtum), Izmir oregano (Origanum onites), mint (Mentha piperita), myrtus (Myrtus communis), orange peel (Citrus sinensis), sage (Salvia officinalis), thyme (Thymbra spicata), and Turkish oregano (Origanum minutiflorum) -- were related to inhibition of 10 bacteria (Listeria innocua, coagulase-negative staphylococci, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Yersinia enterocolitica, Salmonella Enteritidis, Salmonella Typhimurium, Proteus mirabilis, Escherichia coli O157:H7, and Klebsiella oxytoca)."Link
4.Associated topics: bladder-pain-(Interstitial-Cystitis-/-IC),urinary-tract-infection-(UTI) — "[Tea tree (melaleuca alternifolia)] oil has been found effective in chronic cystitis."Link
5.Associated topics: kidneys — "Many plant extracts that protect against the development of oxidative stress manifest clear antilithiasic activity [preventing the formation of or relieving the symptoms of kidney stones].... Evidence obtained to date supports a contributory role of polyphenols [present in essential oils] in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, some cancer types, and osteoporosis.... The results show an improvement of the renal function in some treated groups with an increase of diuresis and creatinine excretion due to polyphenols pretreatment. Our results clearly validate the ability of polyphenols to protect against papillary calcification of kidney tissue, consequently preventing the development of papillary calculi [kidney stones].... The collective findings to date support a protective effect of polyphenols on kidney tissue. Thus, considering that injury of papillary tissue constitutes the first step in the development of COM papillary calculi, the antioxidant action of polyphenols may contribute significantly to their antilithiasic action."Link
6.Associated topics: candida — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link

[R]elative to anise essential oil, the essential oils of oreganos, cinnamon, and thyme had consistently high inhibitory effects.... [B]eta-bisabolene (Turkish and Istanbul oreganos), and terpinolene (thyme) were found to be the most inhibitory compounds regardless of the bacteria type tested."Link
8.Associated topics: candida — "It is suggested that the in vivo effect of tea tree oil ointment in the therapy of fungal infections of the skin and mucous membranes as well as in the treatment of dandruff, a mild form of seborrheic dermatitis, may be at least partly due to an antifungal activity of tea tree oil."Link
