I have a sweet yellow Lab whom is a very large dog, and she would get very hyper when she plays. She was very difficult to settle down and would jump all over us and being such a big dog, not so good.
We started diffusing the Peace & Calming oil blend, and also put a couple drops of Lavender oil on her front paws. She settles down quite quickly. I have also found that this helps her remain calm during thunder storms (she's very afraid).
I am amazed at how quickly the oils work on her. Before we found the oils, we would have to give her a sedative from the vet.
