Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I chose to study the effect of Palo Santo on bone spurs for my CCA course.

The client had multiple bone spurs in his feet and hands, would be in pain rated as 9/10 when rising in the morning, taking 10 minutes to be able to walk normally, and only in soft shoes. We did a weekly pain scale for rising in morning, pressing the areas, and walking after extended sitting.

I asked him to apply a couple of drops of Palo Santo neat on his feet and hands, twice daily after his showers morning and evening.

Over the 6 week study of using the oil, his pain scale gradually dropped to 2/10 for getting out of bed, and 3 months after finishing, he was still walking pain free and barefoot after rising in the morning.

He was not a believer in natural remedies, and was too busy to get the operation, so after 20 years of pain, he was very happy with the results.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: joints, osteoarthritis — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
2.Associated topics: joints, osteoarthritis — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3.Associated topics: joints — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
