Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have begun using the Vita Flex technique with Juniper, the Aroma Life oil blend, Geranium and Copaiba oils to heal neuropathy in my feet and hands and it's working!

On a hunch, I decided to add Wintergreen oil to this twice daily regimen to treat one of my hammer toes. I'm amazed how quickly that poor toe is straightening out and relaxing. I rub one drop of Wintergreen on one toe morning and evening.

Wintergreen for a hammer toe really works! Yay for therapeutic grade essential oils by Young Living! I'm very thankful to be with Young Living for more than a decade now. I keep on learning.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: joints, arthritis — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
2.Associated topics: joints, arthritis — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3.Associated topics: neuropathy — "The patient was successfully treated with topical peppermint oil [for postherpetic neuralgia, a complication of shingles].... The authors believe this is the first evidence of peppermint oil (or menthol) having a strong analgesic effect on neuropathic pain."Link
4.Associated topics: neuropathy — "Ameliorative effects of Ocimum sanctum [holy basil] in sciatic nerve transection-induced neuropathy...."Link
5.Associated topics: joints — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
