My female cat, 9 years young, had a urinary tract infection. As per our vet's exam: she had blood in her urine and she was crying when she was using the litter box.
My vet wanted to keep her and give her an antibiotic. I said no, I wanted to try something else first. I arrived home, mixed one tablespoon of olive oil, five drops Oregano and five drops of the Thieves oil blend.
With a dropper I gave this mix to my cat three times a day, about ten drops of the mixture each time. When it was not possible to put it in her mouth, I was putting it on her paws.
I did this treatment for three days, after which I mixed one tablespoon olive oil, ten drops of the Purification oil blend and ten drops Thieves. With this mixture I was rubbing her four paws, twice a day for about ten days.
The vet wanted to see her back to make sure the infection was gone. He kept her one night, did all the tests, the next day he called me and said, "Whatever you used, I am very impressed, the infection has disappeared, no more blood in her urine and she is back to normal."
Now my cat loves the smell of oils and before this little experience, she used to hate it.
