I had a female golden retriever that developed mastitis and decided to try the oils to help her out. I gave her Thieves oil internally for the infection, Peppermint oil on the pads of her feet to bring down her fever, & Lavender oil for her swelling & inflammation followed with a warm compress. I also gave her NingXia Red daily to build up her immune system.
After 3-4 days the swelling went down and she was doing great. I continued on with the oils for about 7 days and she was back to her normal self running & playing again.
