Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

In June of 2011 I had a double-fracture of the second lumbar vertebra (L2 with 30% compression). The doctors recommended surgery to screw plates into the healthy vertebra above and the one below - and then body cast for three months.

Then they even admitted that it was quite likely I would never walk again. They told me over and over again, "At your age, bones don't heal." "At your age, muscles atrophy." "At your age . . ." I was 68 at the time, and certainly I should have had more sense than to do stunts on a trampoline, but I don't really feel that "old"!

I ended up having no surgery and no pain medications - none. This is what I did:

* Lavender immediately after the injury
* Raindrop oils layered morning and evening topically
* "MAGIC OILS FOR PAIN" as often as every 20 minutes
* Sulfurzyme 12 capsules daily

I also had Sacred Frankincense injected directly into the fractures, but this can only be done in Ecuador at Nova Vita or in Utah. Gratefully, I was in Ecuador, and Gary Young was also there.

Not only was I walking within a week, but I had NO PAIN within 3 months, and there are NO RESTRICTIONS on my activities.

Five weeks after the injury, my daughter, Ginna Grace, who is a yoga teacher assisted me in doing yoga poses to strengthen my core muscles. I believe that was also important - and I continued to use the Young Living oils.
