Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have my eyes examined every 3 years.

2000 - Began wearing prescription eye glasses for reading only.
2003 - Required updated prescription as vision had continued to deteriorate.
2005 - Began drinking NingXia Red juice in July.

I went for my usual vision exam in August of 2006, with the expectation of spending the usual $400-$600 for the exam and updated eye-glasses prescription. Dr. Bateman was surprised at my exam results and asked if I was taking any supplements. I asked him why he asked. He said I did not need to update my prescription and my eye pressure was significantly improved.

He also mentioned for eye health, the normal range for eye pressure is 10-21 mmHg, outside this range is an indicator of impending eye problems such as glaucoma, cataracts, etc. I asked to see the eye pressure results through the years, here they are in right eye/left eye respectively:

1997: 15/21
2000: 17/21
2003: 19/22
2006: 14/14

I was elated with my score in 2006 because I began drinking NingXia Red in July of 2005! Dr. Bateman asked if I had noticed any other changes in my vision. I told him that my night vision had improved so much that I have to remove my glasses at night to see clearly. He asked again what supplement I was taking. The only thing I was taking was NingXia Red. He encouraged me to keep drinking it.

This visit only cost me $112 for the exam. By drinking one ounce of NingXia Red daily I saved $350-$400!! When people tell me that NingXia Red costs too much, I share this experience with them and my HUGE savings. I can't afford NOT to drink this juice!

NingXia Red was my first venture into Young Living supplements, even though I had used the oils for years. With my success using this product, I have incorporated many other supplements, personal care and household products into my life with too many benefits to record here. Sorry it took me so long to get this up on Oil-Testimonials.

vision-/-eyesight,eyes,glaucoma - "Researchers report that carnosic acid, a component of the herb[s] rosemary [and sage], promotes eye health. The team found that carnosic acid protects retinas from degeneration and toxicity.... Their findings suggest that carnosic acid may have clinical applications for the outer retina, including age-related macular degeneration."Link
