Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I am certified by IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) as a veterinary acupuncturist since 1990. I have found that you can use essential oils to stimulate and balance energy in the body by applying them on acupuncture points on the body.

One of the easiest ways to do this is to go down the back of the animal putting light pressure 1/2 inch off the spine and noting Ashi points (OUCH points) They will flinch, skin will spasm or the pet will turn around and look at you or bite you.

Once you find these points, you can massage Lavender, Valor or Frankincense into the point once per day until you see the ASHI point no longer be sensitive.

I have also done this on the reflexology points of the bottoms of their feet. You simply massage the oil into all of their pads once or twice per day, and up to the hock.

Another technique I have done, is use the TING points, which are around the nail beds of all paws. Just massage a drop either concentrated or expanded depending upon the patient's tolerance one to two times per day until the issues are resolved.
