Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
I often get the worst hiccoughs ever-deep and painful. They are hard to get rid of and VERY loud. I have used Peppermint on the back of my neck and that has helped before, but this time it did not.
I looked up oils suggested to use in the Reference Guide for Essential Oils book by Alan and Connie Higley, and Sandalwood and Tarragon were listed. I used Sandalwood since I did not have Tarragon.
I put about 4 drops of oil topically over my diaphragm and throat, then I also inhaled deeply with the oil left in my hand. Within a minute, my hiccoughs were gone!
