Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I received my essential oils in the mail, and I couldn't wait to try out the Frankincense oil last night because I had never used it before. Before bed, I mixed a few drops with a homemade calendula infused skin oil. I found I am a bit sensitive to the Frankincense on its own.

I applied the oil on three areas of my face. Specifically, I put about five drops of the calendula skin oil, in my palm, then added 2 drops of Frankincense oil in it and just mixed with my finger. So this is where I tried it:

* I have a wart that is extremely embarrassing and also painful because I will absently scratch it. Fortunately, it's high on my forehead under where my long hair falls so it's mostly not seen. I keep one of those little square band aids on it both to hide it and to keep me from scratching it. I rubbed the oil mix onto the small wart and left the band aid off last night.

* Along the left side of my nose, I've had a sore spot for years that never goes away. It feels like a pimple forming, but it's hardly ever visible, and it never erupts or goes away (very annoying). When I've applied acne cream, it becomes worse and inflamed, so I'd given up and just keep it clean. I put a swipe of Frankincense mixed with the calendula skin oil on it.

* I was getting one of those painful little pimples on the edge of my ear, so I gave that a swipe too.

This morning, the painful spot along my nose is GONE. No sensitivity there whatsoever. I keep running my finger along it to see if it's really gone, and it really is. The pimple that was forming on my ear is just barely there, the pain reduced to almost nothing. And the wart seems to have decreased in size by about one-third.

Wow. I can't wait to see what happens when I re-treat it tonight.
