I was at a concert with my family when my sister-in-law began to choke and cough. I had a bottle of Peppermint oil in my jacket pocket. I whispered to her to stick out her pinky and a let a drop of oil fall on it and told her to put it on the tip of her tongue and breathe.
She did so and stopped coughing immediately. She was able to enjoy the rest of the concert sans the cough. I don't go anywhere without my Peppermint oil. I also use it in the same manner if I want to quickly freshen my breath.
