I was boiling an entire pot of tea to make iced tea and when I added it to the container, it exploded all over my hand causing an immediately painful burn. I dumped about a 1/4 of a bottle of Young Living Lavender essential oil on which helped, but I could hardly bend my fingers.
My sister looked up in the essential oils reference book to apply the Melrose oil blend with a carrier oil. I mixed Melrose with coconut oil and applied it to my now blistered hand. The pain subsided, the blisters subsided and after continuing to apply the mix about 3 times over the past 5 hours my hand is no longer red or bothered at all! Amazing!
Oh how I love the oils and I am so thankful to the Lord for providing us with these wonderful plants!
