Removed Body Fluid Stains & Odors From A Mattress

I had my doubts, however I no longer doubt at all.
Over and over I read that Thieves Cleaner would take care of stains, odors, etc. from fabrics. So I decided to give Thieves Cleaner a try on some body fluid stains on a new mattress that houseguests left after an extended stay. I diluted Thieves to about 30:1 and lightly sprayed on the stain. Taking a white, cotton diaper, which is wonderful for cleaning, I cleaned the stain towards the center. Oh my, the stains vanished!

Next, the same mattress was the recipient of a cat vomit stain. One of those Orange/brown stains thats almost the size of a salad plate and it was about two or three days old before I noticed it. Disgusting!

A spray of the diluted Thieves cleaner followed by a brisk rub to the center of the stain took way more than 3/4 of the cat vomit color and residual odor out. I sprayed again and rubbed towards the center with a clean cotton diaper but not much more came out for now. I decided that since the area is still damp I'll attack this stain again in the morning. Perhaps the solution will loosen this animal vomit stain and germs. I sincerely believe it will.
