I helped a friend to move and, in the process, stumbled on something. It pulled the muscles/tissue in my foot from second to last toe, to underneath the knuckle on my ankle bone. It was sore, but not unbearably so. I put PanAway on it for about 2 days, 3 times daily, and then the soreness was gone.

Three weeks later, my foot swelled up badly and was sore in the same area. A friend who is a massage therapist said I probably had soft tissue damage that doesn't show up right away. She said I would have to stay off of my foot for several weeks for the tear/pull to heal. I wasn't into doing that!

So I put some Lavender and PanAway along the top of my foot for a couple of days, and then I had the brilliant idea of doing a mini Raindrop Technique on the bottom of my foot. I used all the nine oils twice daily for 3 days. The swelling went completely down and the soreness was gone after a few days.

I did put the oils all over my foot, not just underneath, and I must say I had a bit of an allergic reaction on the thin skin on top, but I just put some Lavender and coconut oil twice a day and that redness disappeared quickly. Just be careful with the strong oils!
