Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

For the last 6 years I've been struggling with Diverticulosis. I have been hospitalized for a severe flare up. I had extremely bloody bowel movements and terrible pains in my stomach. I barely avoided major surgery. Instead, I was placed on many medications.

To avoid Diverticulosis flare ups I was taking Librax and Nexium daily. The Nexium was giving me migraine headaches daily, so I took Ultracet for my headaches. And I suffered from extreme anxiety with a constant fear of being sick again. I took Xanax for this anxiety. I also took anti-inflammatories for joint issues.

I was introduced to Young Living Essential Oils in August 2011 by my 2 nieces one day at the beach. I attended their intro to oils class and decided to see if I could be successful ridding myself of medications, like my niece had done. I spoke to my primary doctor and my GI doctor and was cleared to start weaning off my medications.

Instead of my stomach meds, I use Peppermint essential oil and the DiGize oil blend. I put 1 drop of Peppermint oil in a cup of water and drank it daily. I also rubbed Peppermint oil or DiGize on my stomach as needed.

I took Life 5 Probiotics to assist my digestive system. Instead of taking my migraine medicine, I used the Deep Relief roll-on applied on the top of my head and the back of my neck. My headache stopped quickly.

I was able to stop taking my anxiety medication as well. Instead, when I feel anxious, I used the Peace & Calming, Stress Away or Tranquil oil blends until it subsides. They were applied to the temples, behind my ears, on the top of my head, and wrists. I use the RutaVaLa oil blend to fall asleep at night. I always carry in my pocketbook Stress Away, Deep Relief, and Tranquil to use as needed.

I stopped all 5 of my medications in 2 months of starting Young Living Essential Oils. I feel better than I did when taking the medicine. I have not had any flare ups since using the oils.

At my last GI appointment in May 2012, I was told everything was fine and keep on using your oils.
